Meet Mrs. Kingsley
A little about me…
This is my thirteenth year teaching in the Hudson School District. Every year has been exciting and memorable, as I have been lucky to teach such wonderful students. Dr. H.O. Smith Elementary is a great place, where I truly enjoy being around such enthusiastic students, staff, and parents. I am looking forward to a year full of excitement and learning.
In my classroom, I promote an atmosphere of safety, trust, and respect. I work hard to build a sense of community among my students, and I emphasize the idea of teamwork. I value cooperation and collaboration both in my classroom and as I work with my peers. I believe that great things can happen when we work together! Dr. H.O. Smith is a place where I really feel like part of a strong community and part of a winning team.
Winter Olympics Carnival - Mrs. Kingsley
Meet team Austria!
The students from room 205 participated in the first Winter Olympics Carnival at Dr. H.O. Smith School on February 17th! They enjoyed activities modeled after classic winter games, like bobsledding!
Fun with Glyphs
The students in room 205 have been working on glyphs to as a means of collecting, displaying, and interpreting data. They made Shamrock and Playing Card Glyphs.
